Wan series guide

Choose a Wan model by the work you need to do

WAN3 organizes the Wan series as a production decision, not a wall of model cards. Start with the input you have, the edit you need and the credit range you can accept.

01

A practical model decision map

Use Wan 2.5 for a compact text-or-single-image path. Choose Wan 2.6 when you need longer fixed clips or video-to-video input. Start with Wan 2.7 for the broadest current workflow set, including references and video editing.

  • Wan 2.5: text to video or one-image animation, 5 or 10 seconds.
  • Wan 2.6: text, image or video input, with fixed durations up to 15 seconds where supported.
  • Wan 2.7: text, frame, clip, reference and edit workflows with per-second credit pricing.

02

What the current series shares

All three launch versions use WAN3's reviewed generation path and support 720p or 1080p output. Exact durations, aspect ratios and media limits differ by version and workflow.

Check the quote before you submit

The Workspace validates the selected model and inputs again, then shows the server-calculated credit charge before a task is created. A provider submission failure follows the generation refund path instead of silently switching providers.
